We are creating a third place for film lovers. Think about experiencing cinema in a whole new way – through community.

We organize regular events in Maastricht to bring film lovers and cinema-goers together for movie discussions. We aim to host two events each month, at different cafes or bars throughout the city.

The community actively participates in selecting films or activites for upcoming events. This allows us to feature a wide range of cinematic experiences – old or new, good or bad.

We are meeting to discuss this year's winner of Oscar for the Best International Feature Film. I'm still here is a beautiful Brazilian movie by Walter Salles remembering Brazil’s dictatorship in the 1970s. There are no expectations, come with an open mind and a kind heart.

Walter Salles’ I'm Still Here is a historical drama based on the memoir by Marcelo Rubens Paiva, tracing the aftermath of his father’s disappearance during Brazil’s 1970s military dictatorship. Centered on Eunice Paiva’s quiet resistance and search for truth, the film explores memory, loss, and the importance of truth.
